Tracy-Ann Oberman is a stage, screen, theatre, radio actor and writer.
She wants to mentor you as an actor.
From playing Aunty Val in Friday Night dinner, Yvonne Hartman in Dr Who, Christie Watts in Eastenders… to recently playing in the award winning Harold Pinter season in London’s west end and an award-nominated performance as Brenda Kapowitz in Mother of Him (Park Theatre). She also writes plays, most notably for BBCRadio 4.
Submission Guidelines
- Write an original, 500 word monologue you have written about lockdown
- Submit a video of your performance of your monologue
- It can take any form – thoughts, feelings, fantasy, anywhere this lockdown takes you
- It can be character driven or personal
- This competition will close after 100 entries are received
The winner will receive:
Tracy Ann is about to go into rehearsals to play Shylock in a newly interpreted version of The Merchant of Venice set in Cable Street 1936.
- Winner of the award will attend the press night when the play opens
- The winner will also receive mentorship and three private sessions working on their monologue for professional performance
